Charles Torres

Charles Torres is a retired New York State Police Senior Investigator having served close to 31 years. He has worked throughout the state, from NYC to Buffalo, as a Trooper, Investigator and a Senior Investigator. He has worked many multi-jurisdictional eavesdropping investigations from narcotics to homicides, was a Crisis Intervention (Hostage Negotiation) officer, and was a supervisor for over 10 years. Charles has worked in CNET(narcotics and confidential investigations), the Casino Detail (background investigations, regulatory compliance and criminal offenses on casino/racino property) and the Violent Predator Task Force in NYC (targeting violent felony and recidivist offenders). He has worked cases in both state and federal levels. He has attended the world renowned Hank Williams Homicide Seminar in Albany which gives attendees the latest strategies and technological updates in homicide investigations. Charles is a native Spanish speaker and is very active in the WNY community, serving on several community and organizational boards.
